Super moist and easy-to-make banana bread.
Your entire house would smell so great baking one loaf of this.
Oven needed.
| Unsalted butter, softened | 1/2 cup |
| Brown Sugar | 1 cup |
| Eggs | 2 |
| Vanilla Extract | 1 tbsp |
| Ripe bananas, mashed | 4 |
| All-purpose flour | 2 cups |
| Baking Powder | 1 tbsp |
| Salt | 1/2 tsp |
| Nuts | At you wish |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (mine turned out to be not so fluffy, but it's fine). Stir in the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Stir in vanilla and banana.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Blend the banana mixture into the flour mixture; stir just to combine. Fold in nuts of your choice. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean.
No salt needed if the butter is already salted.
Baking powder needs to be mixed well with flour.
