
I’m from Northeastern China. I live in Canada now. After watching A Bite of China, it makes me miss my mom’s dumplings and my dad’s delicious dishes very much. I try to write down and make sure my family in Canada can always have some authentic dumplings.

350g pork 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon light soy sauce 1 teaspoon the thirteen spices 1 teaspoon olive oil 1 teaspoon cold water 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder 2 1/2 tablespoons soybean paste (Northeastern style) One small drop of sesame oil Let the meat sit there for thirty mins

1 carrot 1/4 cabbage 1 onion Mix with the pork

Making dumplings

Making dough into small same size dough for wraps.
1. Salt can help the dough taste better.
2. Use cold water for the dough can make dumplings stronger wraps.
