healthy carrot cake的食材和调料

white or whole wheat flour1/2 cup
baking powder1 tsp
cinnamon1 tsp
eggs2
honey or maple syrup30 ml
oil30 ml
apple sauce unsweetened1/4 cup
vanilla extract1 tsp
carrots, peeled and grated1 cup
ground cashew nuts1/4 cup

healthy carrot cake的做法步骤

  1. 第1步.

    preheat the oven to 180°

  2. 第2步.

    in a bowl,combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder and mixed spice, set aside.

  3. 第3步.

    in a large bowl, beat the eggs on high speed for 1 min until foamy. add in the honey and beat for another 3-5 minutes until well combine. stir in the oil, apple sauce and vanilla extract. and in half of the four mixer and stir until just combine. and add in the rest four mixer.

  4. 第4步.

    fold in the grated carrots and cashew nuts.

  5. 第5步.

    put the batter into a 8 inch cake tin. place in the oven and bake for 30-35 mins.
