bittersweet chocolate, chopped 50 g
butter 60 g = 4.23 tbsp
egg 35 g
milk 15 g
sugar 50 g
baking soda 1/4 tsp
pastry flour 100g
pecan/walnut 25 g
| Butter (120 g) | reduce to 8 tbsp |
| chocolate (50 g/1.76oz) | 1/2 cup |
| - | Cocoa powder 6 tbsp |
| - | Vegetable oil 1.5 tbsp |
| - | sugar 2 tbsp |
| -or unsweetened | 1.17 oz |
| -or sugar | 3.52 g |
| Egg | 1 |
| Milk (30 g) | 2 tbsp |
| Sugar (100 g) | 1/2 cup |
| Baking soda | 1/2 tsp |
| pastry flour (200 g) | 7/4 cup |
| - | flour 175 g |
| - | corn starch 25 g |
| Chocolate chips (50 g) | 1/2 cup |
| - | could sub half with white |
| Pecan (50 g) | 1/2 cup |
prep: roast pecan at 350F for 10 mins (+1–2 min)
Melt 8tbsp butter
Add 6 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp sugar and 1.5 tbsp vegetable oil OR 1/2 cup melted chocolate
Add 1 egg and 2 tbsp milk
Add 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 cup sugar and 7/4 cup flour
Add 1/2 dark chocolate chips and 1/2 cup pecan
Bake 350 F for 18 mins * 15 mins when smaller
could use more sugar and more pecan
