Pie crust的做法说明

Adapted from Nana’s Cookery; making two crusts are not exactly double since the top crust is slightly smaller

Pie crust的食材和调料

Flour1 cup + 2 tbsp
Salt1/2 tsp
Canola oil1/3 cup
Icy water2 tbsp

Pie crust的做法步骤

  1. 第1步.

    Add flour, salt, oil and mix well with a fork

  2. 第2步.

    Add icy water and work the dough for 20 rounds (don’t over work it!!!). If the dough is a perfect marble then you’ve overworked it already

  3. 第3步.

    Roll it till it’s bigger than the pie dish. Don’t stretch the bottom to live up to the top. Always tuck in rather than the other direction
