½ cup (120 g) of salted butter

1/2 cup (115 g) cool but not cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1/3 cup (70 g) packed light brown sugar
1 1/3 cups (270 g) all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp (5 g) baking powder
¼ tsp (2 g) salt
¼ tsp (2 g) ground cinnamon
1/4 cup (60 ml) sour cream
1 large egg at room temperature
1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
Butter Tart Topping
½ cup (115 g) packed light brown sugar
2 Tbsp (17 g) all-purpose flour
½ tsp (3 g) baking powder
¼ tsp (1 g) ground cinnamon
2 large eggs at room temperature
½ cup (125 ml) corn syrup
¼ cup (60 g) unsalted butter, melted
1 Tbsp (15 ml) whiskey or brandy (optional)
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
1 cup (150 g) raisins

Cream the 1/2 cup butter with 1 cup of sugar; add 2 eggs and beat between each addition; add 1 tbsp vanilla extract
prep dry ingredient: 2 1/3 cup flour, 2tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt
Beat 1/3 dry ingredient in the batter; then beat 1/3 sour cream into the batter; repeat till everything has been combined. It should be a sticky batter
Spray the baking spray into your spring form pan
Add half of the batter into the spring form pan
Mix 1 tbsp of cinnamon and 1 tbsp of white sugar and sprinkle it all over the top of the batter. Then add 1/2 cup chopped pecans on top.
Add the other half of batter into the spring form pan. It would be easier if you add them in as dollops and then smooth them out.
Make crumb topping: combine 1/2 cup flour, 2 tbsp white sugar, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and 5 tbsp melted butter. Use a fork to make the crumbs.
Mix the topping with 1/2 cup chopped pecans and add it on top of the cake.
Bake in 350 F for 1 hr.
could also use glass baking pan may take longer though, use a skewer to test (don't overbake, will get dry!)
